Who are we

In 1970's, the York Republican Women's Club (YRWC)  was established.  On June 1, 2020 we officially changed our name to the Republican Women of York Conty.  Our club
understands the importance of protecting our civil liberties. Living in Yorktown, we have a constant reminder of the sacrifices that our founding fathers made to create our "Blessings of Liberty."  As the Republican Women before us, who fought for the freedom of the slaves, women's right to vote, and the civil rights for all races, we continue this legacy by battling for equality and justice for  all Americans. York Republican Women Club has a great heritage for we have spirit of Susan B. Anthony who was also a Republican woman. Like the suffragettes before us, we  will never give up the battle or surrender.

Our Purpose

    1. Promote an informed public through political action and activity 
   2. Increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government
   3. Recruit and support Republican women for elective office on the local, state, and national 
       levels as well as intra party positions
   4. Inform the public through political education and activity
   5. Foster loyalty to the Republican Party 
   6. Promote the principles of the Republican Party
   7. Work for Republican candidates in all elections, including non-partisan elections
   8.  Support the objectives and policies of the Republican National Committee
   9. Perform any lawful activity not inconsistent with the foregoing.
