What does the RWYC do
We are an organization of volunteers dedicated to electing conservatives to local, state, & federal office; helping them win elections by donating funds and volunteer hours to campaigns.
We are a member of the Virginia Federation of Republican Women.
We help campaigns by doing Door Knocking, Phone Banking, writing Letters to the Editor, working the Polls on Election Day, and other activities to inform our fellow citizens about our candidates and why they are the best choice.
We have participated with the York County Republican Committee in the Yorktown 4th of July Parade with a float highlighting our Republican Creed to inform people why they should vote Republican. We help operate the Republican booth on the 4th so people can meet and learn about our candidates and us.
We participate in the annual Lincoln Reagan Gala dinner event with other Peninsula Republican Committees & Women’s Clubs fellow Republicans on the Peninsula together in fellowship to support our Republican legislators and candidates.
We donate books on American Heritage to the York & Tabb Libraries, collect food for area food banks, keep members informed on Homeland Security issues, and collect school supplies for York County students in need.
But most importantly, we support, encourage, and assist Republican Women to hold positions of leadership and political office.
